About
Edna Goble
Founder of "Teach
Them To Read" and creator of the "EDNA", "EDNA II" and "Teaching PHONICS
in a Balanced Reading Program" programs.
Edna Goble
developed "Early Detection Necessary Action," an outstanding early
intervention program that identifies and accelerates at-risk readers
during their primary years. The programs developed by Edna Goble are in
effect in school systems throughout the Southeast, bringing new
excitement to classroom teachers, special-ed teachers, parents and
administrators wherever it has been taught.
Edna has 30+ years experience
of turning reading problems into reading success stories. A dynamic
speaker and effective teacher, she is a frequent presenter at state and
national educational conferences. She has won respect in the
educational community and is in demand for her training programs for
teachers and parents.
The strategies and methods
of instruction that Edna has developed allow teachers to turn students
who have been labeled as "disabled" into fluent readers and "successful"
students in a very short time.
"All
students can learn to read. Not all students learn to read using the
same technique."
